Dreaming and planning for your spring gardening plans, but could you use some expert advice? The Rutgers Master Gardener Helpline, a free service to Mercer County residents, is staffed weekly to answer your questions. You can drop off insect, plant, and turf samples at our reception desk during regular business hours at 1440 Parkside Avenue, Ewing. Master Gardener volunteers will reply to your question via phone, typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can also call the office and leave a message at 609-989-6853 or send your questions (and pictures) to our email address AskTheMGs@mercercounty.org. Be sure to leave your phone number so a Master Gardener can reach you.
