Ricardo Kairios, MS, Assistant Professor and County Agent with Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Mercer County, proudly attended the inaugural Equality Gala hosted by the Mercer County Office of LGBTQIA+. The event was a heartfelt celebration of love, advocacy, and community, honoring the ongoing efforts to promote inclusion and unity across the county.
Ricardo expressed appreciation for Mercer County’s steadfast commitment to creating inclusive programs and safe spaces for LGBTQIAS2+ residents and stakeholders. The evening was filled with powerful moments of connection and solidarity, highlighting the importance of visibility, belonging, and collective action.
The Department of Family and Community Health Sciences remains dedicated to supporting this vital work in partnership with county leaders, local organizations, and community members. Together, we continue to uplift and expand efforts that foster equity, wellness, and meaningful engagement throughout Mercer County.
