We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2025 Rutgers Master Gardeners class! We will be running multiple orientations to inform potential applicants of the Master Gardener program of all that is involved. The orientation will cover everything from the class requirements and curriculum to the volunteer work that comes after certification. Nine counties within the state (including Mercer County) will be running their program starting this January. The orientations facilitated by the statewide coordinator and some county coordinators will run just under an hour. This orientation is free and online and comes with no strings attached. If, after the orientation, you think the program is for you, then we will give you the next steps to enroll in the program!
Once registered for the program, the Master Gardener Training classes for Mercer County will be in person at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension office in Ewing from 9:30 am-12 pm on Wednesdays starting in January.
