4-H clubs across the country celebrated National 4-H Week from October 6th through the 12th – members celebrated by wearing their 4-H t-shirts and organizing community service events.
4-H is about youth discovering and pursuing interests while building confidence and developing life skills necessary to thrive in an ever-changing world. These skills will allow 4-H youth to be prepared for whatever comes their way – 4-H’ers will be Beyond Ready.
In explaining the Beyond Ready initiative, Jill Bramble, President and CEO of the National 4-H Council, wrote, “…At 4-H, we’ve always believed in the boundless potential of young people. We know that when youth are given the tools, opportunities, and guidance they need, they are unstoppable. But today, as our nation’s youth face increasing challenges in mental health, education, and workforce readiness, it’s clear the stakes have never been higher…”
