Last month, Ricardo Kairios, FCHS Educator/Assistant Professor, taught a food safety and healthy food pantry cooking demonstration for families at the HomeFront Family Campus in Ewing. During this lesson, Ricardo worked with participants to cook three healthy recipes highlighting the latest produce provided at the HomeFront food pantry locations. Produce featured in this month’s pantry box included leeks, broccoli, beets, and potatoes. Leeks are in season this Spring!
