This summer, FCHS Educator, Ricardo Kairios, shared health-related resources with families during the Annual Night Out event hosted by the Trenton Housing Authority. Ricardo shared information about MyPlate (with a special focus on mixing up the colors of fruits and vegetables you eat), the health benefits of being physically active throughout the week, and tips for avoiding drinks with added sugars. During this event, Ricardo was joined by a Dietetic Intern from the Rutgers Individualized Supervised Practice Pathway Dietetic Internship, who demonstrated examples of various types of physical activities that folks can do at home without any equipment.
