The Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County held their annual Plant Expo and Garden Market at the Mercer Educational Gardens in Pennington. Over 2,000 homegrown perennials, shrubs, and trees were sold. The garden market featured organic vegetable plants from Chickadee Creek Farm, cut flowers and potted plants from Moonshot Farm, woody ornamentals and perennials from Steve Kristoph Nursery, and native perennials, trees, and shrubs from Shannon’s Nursery. Planting resources were shared with the public, and Rutgers Master Gardeners were available to answer gardening questions.
