The 2022 4-H South Jersey Teen Conference (SJTC) was held on May 14th at the YMCA Camp Ockanickon in Medford, New Jersey.
This year’s theme was “4-H…The Adventure Awaits You!” Over fifty 4-H’ers and adults participated in the conference.
Despite the rainy weather, teens from throughout the state enjoyed the personal interactions and the great outdoors!
Highlights of the day were teambuilding activities, canoeing, rock climbing, archery, and ziplining!
The teens brought non-perishable food items to be donated to the 4-H pop-up food pantry in Monmouth County. They also made fleece dog pull toys and doggie jackets that were donated to the Burlington County Animal Shelter!
More than a sixty-year-old tradition, the South Jersey Teen Conference is open to any 4-H’ers in eighth grade through the first year out of high school!
