FCHS Teaches Oat-Standing Nutrition Workshops!
On a chilly November day, two of PJ Hill Elementary’s 2nd and 3rd grade classes were treated to the third lesson of the Food Smart Kids series. The focus? A lesson on whole grains paired with a warm and customizable oatmeal! Led by Nutrition Educator Cate Diamond, students learned about the power of whole grains. Kids acted as food detectives to locate whole grain foods by scouring food labels and ingredient lists.
